The Constant Level Painting Tank is engineered to work seamlessly with a robot equipped with a gripping device for handling foundry cores. This tank is specifically designed for water-based paints and coatings of varying densities, ensuring efficient and consistent application.

Key Features

1. Agitation Systems:

   • Vertical Propeller Agitator:
     • A marine-style propeller agitator is integrated into the main body of the tank. It effectively keeps all paint components in suspension, ensuring uniformity in the mixture.
   • Pendulum Paddle Agitator:
     • Inside the immersion tank, a paddle agitator with pendulum motion is installed. This design minimizes turbulence on the surface of the paint while preventing sedimentation of heavier particles. The slow motion allows for gentle mixing, maintaining a consistent coating quality.

2. Constant Level Maintenance:

   • The tank features an internal baffle that controls the paint level. When the paint exceeds the baffle, it overflows into the main tank, ensuring that the immersion tank remains at a constant level.

3. Pneumatic Pump:

   • A dedicated pneumatic double-diaphragm pump continuously supplies the immersion tank. It draws paint from the main tank and delivers it, maintaining the necessary volume for painting operations.

4. Removable Strainer:

   • The immersion tank is equipped with a removable mesh basket that collects any foreign objects that may accidentally fall into the tank, preventing these from damaging the recirculation pump or the agitation systems.

5. Control and Safety Features:

   • An electrical control panel manages the operations of the agitators and the recirculation pump, while protective covers safeguard the pendulum agitator's movement.

6. Mobility:

   • The tank is mounted on a base frame designed for easy relocation using a pallet jack, enhancing flexibility in the workspace.
