The C22 AN Automatic Coreshooter is designed for the efficient production of cores utilizing cold-box processes with an emphasis on the gassing operation for curing. Key Features:

  • Hydraulic Clamping System: The machine features an adjustable right-side clamp that remains mechanically fixed after regulation. The left-side clamp incorporates a smart recognition system operated by a hydraulic proportional valve with electronic control for enhanced positioning accuracy.

  • Core Evacuation Belt:

    • The belt can move up and down, controlled by a hydraulic cylinder equipped with a position recognition system.
    • Bidirectional movement allows operators to place foam pillows on the belt to cradle delicate cores, minimizing the risk of damage during handling.
  • Hydraulic Ejection Unit:

    • Equipped with four chromium guides to ensure smooth ejection of cores.
    • The movement of the tape can be selected as unidirectional or bidirectional via a simple command sequence from the operator.
  • Safety Features: The machine is fully guarded with perimeter access doors, which are controlled by safety switches to prevent unauthorized access during operation.

  • Integrated Gas Generator: An optional gas generator is built into the cabinet for enhanced operational efficiency.

  • Hydraulic Unit: Includes an air/oil exchanger with a cooling capacity of 4500 kcal/hour and a flow rate of 40 liters/minute, maintaining optimal operating temperatures.

Control Panel:

  • The integrated control panel is equipped with a Siemens S7 PLC and an OP277 display, featuring multilingual software with programmable recipes. Users can adjust various parameters, including:
    • Type of Head Shot: Options include eyelet, hole, or inserts.
    • Insert Specifications: For example, different types of inserts such as insert 11.
    • Shooting Options: Single or double shooting with respective charging times.
    • Pressure Settings: Indicate required shooting, gassing, and purging pressures.
    • Operational Controls: Management of core evacuation belt, ejection system, and various cycle configurations.
