AUTOMATIC CORE SHOOTER "B 12 GSE-I"

 

This machine comes standard with an intelligent hydraulic clamping system featuring grooved plates for the closure of core boxes with vertical division, operated by hydraulic cylinders equipped with an automatic position recognition system.

The slider, also hydraulically controlled, allows the clamping group with the installed core box to move outside the shooting and gas-hardening position, thus providing the operator with free access to the upper part of the core box, enabling them to remove the hardened cores outside the shooting zone.

The core shooter in question is designed for producing cores using all processes that utilize gas-hardening to harden the cores and is built according to the following characteristics:

  • Clamps on the right and left sides with mechanical fastening of the core boxes, independent intelligent hydraulic movements on both sides with position recognition, controlled by hydraulic valves equipped with fast/slow settings and dedicated software.

  • Hydraulic slider with a stroke of 600 mm, operated by a hydraulic cylinder and proximity limit switch.

  • Extractor with hydraulic control: the vertical movement for expulsion with four push points and a 20 mm stroke is hydraulically self-guided and entirely housed within the base of the clamping group, without any external parts visible. Thanks to this specific construction shape, this application does not obstruct the normal use of the clamping group when the extractor is not in operation. The extractor's operation is always managed within the recipes, so it can easily be included or excluded as desired.

  • Hydraulic table lifting/lowering group with a 300 mm stroke, realized by a position-recognition intelligent cylinder, controlled by hydraulic valves with fast/slow settings and dedicated software.

  • Complete perimeter closure of dimensions that allow the slider to carry the entire clamping group outside the shooting head while remaining inside the perimeter closure, equipped with automatic full-height doors on the operator's side. For maintenance, the perimeter closure is equipped with side sliding doors controlled by safety limit switches.

  • Mechanical supports for the upper half of the core box when using horizontal division core boxes.

  • Gas-hardener (optional) integrated within the perimeter closure.

  • Electrical control panel integrated into the closure, with an operator panel supported by a specially articulated arm, featuring a Siemens S7 PLC, an OP77 display with multilingual operating software, and memory recipes with the following adjustable variants:

    1. Indication regarding the type of shooting head to use (slot, central hole, cross, or inserts).
    2. Indication regarding the type of insert to use (e.g., insert 11, etc.).
    3. Single, double, or triple shooting, each with its own charge time.
    4. Charge frequency.
    5. Indication of the shooting pressure to use (manual adjustment).
    6. Position of the right half of the core box.
    7. Position of the left half of the core box.
    8. Position of the core box during ascent (against the shooting head). Once this value is set, the machine automatically positions itself for the entry of the gas-hardening plate after shooting.
    9. Gas-hardening time.
    10. Washing time.
    11. Indication of the gas-hardening pressure to use (manual adjustment).
    12. Indication of the washing pressure to use (manual adjustment).
    13. Slider included or excluded.
    14. Clamps included or excluded.
    15. Option to insert an intermediate stop in the cycle for introducing reinforcement or hooks before the shooting cycle.
    16. Option to insert an intermediate stop in the cycle for introducing reinforcement or hooks after the shooting cycle.
    17. Option to adopt the cycle variable “extra-long core box” that allows the slider and therefore the core box to move only when the doors are open.

The filterless shooting system used in this machine allows for operation with reduced shooting pressures.

The machine is constructed in accordance with European safety standards, is equipped with CE marking, and is accompanied by the relevant declaration of conformity.
