The automatic core shooter machine, model "B 30 – PB - DO", is designed for use with horizontally split core boxes. It operates in two modes: opening the core box either inside or outside the perimeter enclosure.
When the core box is opened inside, the machine can be equipped with an upper half-core retainer. This allows the upper half-core to remain suspended while the machine’s table lowers after the shooting and gassing process. The lower half-core is then moved outside the machine via a hydraulic ejector that removes the hardened core for the operator to collect.
Alternatively, when opening the core box outside, the machine can be fitted with a hydraulic upper half-core lifter located outside the front door and a support for the lower half-core. In this case, a hydraulic ejector extracts the hardened core.
The hydraulic-driven sled moves the horizontally split core box out of the shooting and gassing area, granting the operator free access to the upper core for removal.
This core shooter is engineered for the production of cores using gassing operations for core hardening and includes features such as hydraulic sleds, adjustable ejectors, and safety measures compliant with European standards.
