The "B 30 – PB - DV" Automatic Core Shooter is designed for versatile applications, enabling users to operate efficiently with both vertical and certain types of horizontal core boxes. This machine can be configured in two distinct operational modes, catering to various production needs.

Key Features:

• Dual Configuration:

  • The machine can handle vertical core boxes with an intelligent hydraulic clamping system featuring grooved plates driven by hydraulic cylinders and position recognition systems.
  • For horizontal core boxes, an optional retainer for the upper core half allows for secure holding during the shooting and gasification processes.

• Intelligent Hydraulic Clamping:

  • The clamping system includes right and left clamps with mechanical fastening for core boxes. The independent hydraulic movements feature position recognition, controlled by hydraulic valves with fast/slow modes and dedicated software.
  • The system can accommodate two-part (left and right) or three-part (left, right, and bottom) core boxes.

• Hydraulic Sliding Mechanism:

  • A hydraulic sliding mechanism enables the clamping system with the installed core box to move out of the shooting and gasification position, granting the operator access to the upper part of the core box for easy removal of hardened cores.

• Integrated Extraction System:

  • The hydraulic extractor provides vertical ejection with four-point thrust, fully housed within the clamping system's base, ensuring no obstruction when not in use. Its operation can be integrated into production recipes.

• Table Lift System:

  • A hydraulic table lift system with a 400 mm stroke, driven by an intelligent position-recognition cylinder, is controlled by hydraulic valves with fast/slow capabilities.

• Safety Features:

  • The machine features an integral perimeter closure with external mesh side walls and an optoelectric barrier on the operator's side, including an automatically controlled full-height roller closure. The perimeter closure is equipped with sliding maintenance access doors with safety limit switches.

• Control System:

  • An integrated electrical panel includes a PLC Siemens and a 10” Elmak PC display with multilingual operating software. The software supports recipe storage and allows for the following configurable parameters:
    • Type of shooting head (slot, central hole, cross, or inserts).
    • Type of insert (e.g., insert 11).
    • Shooting options: single, double, or triple, each with its own loading time.
    • Loading frequency.
    • Manual adjustment of shooting pressure.
    • Positioning for the left and right core halves.
    • Automatic positioning for gasification plate entry post-shooting.
    • Gasification time and washing time.
    • Manual adjustments for gasification and washing pressures.
    • Options to include/exclude the sliding mechanism and clamps.
    • Intermediate stoppage options for introducing armature or hooks before or after the shooting cycle.
    • Additional cycle variables can be set via specific commands on the control panel.

• Safety Compliance:

  • The machine is constructed in compliance with European safety standards, carries CE marking, and comes with a corresponding declaration of conformity.
