The "COMPACT 12 S" Automatic Core Shooter is an advanced machine designed for the production of cores, featuring gasification processes for hardening. It is built to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring user safety and comfort.

Key Features:

• Pneumatic Clamping System:
  Equipped with a clamping system featuring grooved plates, this machine securely closes vertical core boxes using pneumatic cylinders. If not in use, the clamping system can be excluded from the automatic cycle.

• Pneumatic Horizontal Slide:
  A pneumatic horizontal slide with chrome guide rails allows operators to use the machine for both horizontal core boxes and open-top configurations. The operation of the slide can be toggled in or out of the automatic cycle using the PLC keyboard.

• Robust Design:
  The core shooter is designed to carry out all processes utilizing gasification for the hardening of cores, including:

  • Right and left clamps with a mechanical fastening system (T-slots) featuring pneumatic movement on both sides.
  • A compact integral perimeter enclosure with a roll-up door for operator access.
  • Optional integration of a gasifier within the perimeter enclosure, if requested.
  • A work surface height of 1000 mm for operator comfort, with no need for foundations or floor holes for installation.

• Electrical Control System:
  The electrical panel is mounted directly on the enclosure, featuring a Siemens S7 PLC with an OP3 display. The multilingual operational software allows configuration of:

  • Clamps activated or excluded from the automatic cycle.
  • Slide activated or excluded from the automatic cycle.
  • Single or double shot options.
  • Load frequency.
  • Gasification and washing times.
  • Intermediary cycle stoppage for armature or hook insertion after the shooting cycle.

• Maintenance Access:
  The perimeter enclosure includes side doors for maintenance access, while the operator side features an automatically controlled transparent PVC roll-up closure.

• Safety Compliance:
  The core shooter operates without a filter, enabling low shooting pressures. It is built in compliance with European safety standards, comes with CE marking, and includes a corresponding declaration of conformity.
