AUTOMATIC CORE SHOOTER "COMPACT 5 S"
This machine comes standard with a pneumatic clamping group featuring chromed side guides and grooved plates for securing core boxes. This type of core shooter can work with:
- Vertical division core boxes in two parts,
- Core boxes divided into three parts (two half core boxes with vertical division + a base),
- Horizontal division core boxes to be used as bulk core boxes,
- Single-piece open core boxes.
The operation is a single automatic cycle, preset with selectable options. The two main parts of the core box (right side and left side) are mounted on slotted supports with T-slots passing through for hammer screws or unified anchors for T-slots.
At the top of the machine, we find the shooting head with the approved shooting reservoir, the sand loading butterfly valve with its actuator, the residual pressure release valve, and the vibrating hopper. The feeding hopper is equipped with an electric vibrator.
The gassing plate is pneumatically inserted, with positions controlled by limit switches, mounted on a cart that slides on chromed and tempered linear guides with recirculating balls. The front of the cart also incorporates two scrapers for cleaning the shooting head and the top of the core boxes.
The machine can be delivered complete with an interchangeable insert shooting head (optional). The shooting head is mounted on a special collar using a three-point screw locking system, allowing the operator to easily remove it from the shooting position for end-of-shift cleaning operations.
The core shooter is supplied complete with:
- A monolithic supporting structure designed to be compact while preventing unauthorized operator access to hazardous areas. Operator access to the core box is provided through a retractable curtain controlled by sensors connected to a safety control unit. There are also two additional side entrances (for maintenance use only), where the access doors are hinged and controlled by specific keyed safety limit switches.
- Right and left-side clamps with a mechanical fastening system for core boxes, featuring pneumatic movements realized with individually adjustable ISO cylinders.
- A horizontal slider with pneumatic control and chromed guide rods, where the movement remains within the closure to avoid protruding parts facing the operator during the automatic cycle.
- A compact hydraulic unit with a pump, a discharge valve, a board accumulator, and a visual level indicator. The hydraulic equipment and solenoid valves are positioned on the hydraulic control unit.
- The main control electrical panel is directly fixed to the machine structure, rotatable as needed, equipped with a Siemens S7 PLC, a Siemens OP 3 monochrome backlit display, and dedicated software with support memory, featuring the following configurable options:
- Clamps included or excluded,
- Slider included or excluded,
- Ability to use and control movable parts on the core box,
- Single or double shooting,
- Loading frequency,
- Gassing time,
- Washing time,
- An optional gassing system integrated into the machine's supporting structure, with controls incorporated into the electrical panel of the machine.
- The filterless shooting system adopted in this machine allows for operation at reduced shooting pressures.
The working height of the table is 1000 mm, allowing the operator to work comfortably. The machine does not require foundations or floor holes and is constructed in compliance with European safety standards, features CE marking, and is accompanied by the relevant declaration of conformity.
