Our products

The “PF 12” shooting machine is an advanced device designed for the production of cores using the Cold-Box process. This machine can handle both vertically and horizontally divided core boxes, operating fully automatically with a pre-set single cycle that can be customized.

 

Key Features:

  • Intelligent hydraulic clamping group: Equipped with grooved plates, the closing system is managed by hydraulic cylinders with automatic position recognition.
  • Types of core boxes:
    • Divided into two parts vertically
    • Divided into three parts (two halves plus a bottom)
    • Divided into two parts horizontally
    • Single-piece open-top core boxes
  • Movement: All movements of the core box parts are carried out via hydraulic controls.

Components and Operation:

  • Mobile upper part: Composed of a shooting head, a butterfly valve for sand loading, and a vibrating hopper, controlled by hydraulic cylinders and electric limit switches.
  • Feeding hopper: Equipped with an electric vibrator and sized to hold the entire sand load.
  • Gas plate: Mounted on a cart with scrapers for cleaning the shooting head.
  • Closing system: Includes perimeter closures that ensure operator safety with access controlled by pneumatic sliding doors.

Hydraulic System:

  • Hydraulic unit: Composed of a double pump, discharge valves, clogged filter indication, and an air-oil heat exchanger.
  • Control and automation: Managed via a Siemens S7 PLC with a backlit operator interface.
