The core shooting machine model "PF 30" is suitable for the production of cores using the Cold-Box process with vertically or horizontally split core boxes. It operates in a preset automatic single cycle, with selectable options. This machine can work with the following core box types:
Core boxes divided into two parts with vertical split,
Core boxes divided into three parts (two half boxes with vertical split + a bottom),
Core boxes divided into two parts with horizontal split,
Single-piece core boxes with open-top.
All the main movements of the core box parts are achieved through hydraulic controls. The two main parts of the core box (right side and left side) are mounted on guide rails with T-slots. The upper part of the machine (shooting head, vibrating hopper, etc.) is movable and is operated by a pair of hydraulic cylinders with guide rods. The feeding hopper is equipped with an electric vibrator and is large enough to contain the entire sand load from the existing distribution trolley. The pneumatically inserted gassing plate is mounted on a trolley, which also incorporates two scrapers for cleaning the shooting head and the upper part of the core boxes.
The machine is delivered with an interchangeable insert shooting head. The shooting head is mounted on a collar using a set of three screw clamps, allowing the operator to easily remove it for cleaning at the end of the work shift. The core shooting machine is equipped with:
Perimeter enclosure that prevents access to dangerous areas without taking up extra space. Operator access to the core box is through a double sliding door with pneumatic control and safety limit switches. Additional access points (for maintenance) are provided, but these are secured by bolted panels instead of doors.
Hydraulic unit with double pump, safety pressure switch, drain valve, clogged filter indicator, water-oil heat exchanger with thermostatic valve, and visual level indicator. The hydraulic equipment and electrovalves are mounted on the machine.
Main control panel with PLC, monochrome display, and dedicated software supported by EPROM memory.
Amine gasser with integrated controls in the machine's electrical panel. The gasser has a two-section support frame (heating and amine dosing sections). The pneumatic equipment for pressure control is located in the dosing section. Temperature sensors are installed on the heater and connected to the temperature controllers in the machine's control panel. The installed power on the heater is 6 kW.
The machine is built in compliance with European safety standards, is CE certified, and comes with the corresponding declaration of conformity.
