Coreshooter "TM 100-DV"

Our products

The BZV-TM 100 DV Automatic Coreshooter is a highly efficient machine designed for the production of large cores used in various cold-box processes. This system is specifically engineered to handle cores produced from both open-top and vertically divided core boxes.

Key Features:

  • Automatic Operation: Designed for high productivity, the machine automates the core shooting process, facilitating the production of large cores with ease.

  • Mobile Cart System: A mobile cart allows for easy removal of the core box or produced cores, providing the operator with convenient access for the use of hoists or cranes for lifting hardened cores.

  • Comprehensive Safety Design:

    • The machine features a full perimeter enclosure and an optoelectronic safety barrier in the operator’s area to ensure safety during operation.
    • The design includes three sides of protective mesh fencing, ensuring the operator's safety when mounting core boxes or removing hardened cores.
  • Hydraulic Movement:

    • The shooting and gassing head movements are executed using hydraulic cylinders equipped with a position recognition system via encoders.
    • Key movement positions (shooting, gassing, scraper entry, etc.) can be memorized and recalled using a programmable logic controller (PLC) interface.
  • Extraction System: The cart includes a hydraulic extraction system with a stroke of 150 mm, facilitating the ejection of hardened cores from the lower half of the core box.

  • Integrated Control Panel:

    • The control panel features a Siemens S7 PLC and an OP 77 display, with multilingual software capable of storing multiple recipes for operational flexibility.
    • Operators can set various parameters, including shooting configurations, cycle type (single, double, or triple), loading frequency, pressures, and more.

Operational Sequence Example:

  1. The operator exits the protected area and presses the reset and start buttons.
  2. The extractor retracts inside the cart.
  3. The clamping mechanism closes completely.
  4. The cart enters the machine.
  5. Front doors close.
  6. The shooting head descends to compress against the core box.
  7. The machine automatically executes the selected shooting cycle.
  8. The shooting head rises partially to allow the gassing plate to be inserted.
  9. The gassing plate compresses against the core box.
  10. The gassing and washing cycles run automatically.
  11. The shooting head fully ascends to allow the gassing plate to exit.
  12. Operator doors open.
  13. The cart exits with the core box.
  14. The clamping mechanism opens.
  15. The hydraulic extractor raises to eject the hardened core from the core box.
  16. The cycle is complete, allowing the operator to safely enter the protected area for core removal.
