GAS GENERATOR TYPE “GA 10/CEP/A”

The gas generator is designed for efficient amine dosing and core curing processes. It is enclosed within three separate housing control stations, ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical, pneumatic, and heating systems.

Key Components:

1. Control Panel and Electric Components:

   • Houses the Siemens S7 PLC and operator interface.
   • Includes self-diagnostic fault-finding capabilities and all necessary starters and controls for operation.

2. Pneumatic System and Dosing Pump:

   • Volumetric Dosing Pump:
     • Magnetically driven, completely sealed, powered by an ADPE electric motor.
     • A special device within the gas generator monitors the real-time quantity of amine being dosed into the core during the gassing cycle.
   • Main Filter:
     • Equipped with double valves on the inlet and outlet to prevent foreign bodies from entering the dosing pump.

3. High-Performance Electric Heater:

   • Used for amine vaporization and heating purge air.
   • Adjustable set-point with a maximum working temperature of 130°C.
   • Microprocessor controllers provide work and safety temperature controls using P.I.D. (Proportional + Integral + Derivative) functions.

Operational Features:

• Working Pressure Control:

  • Integrated system maintains low pressure during the gassing phase and increases pressure during the purge phase.
  • Both pressure levels are adjustable via separate controls until the core is fully cured.

• Compressed Air Requirements:

  • Connection: 1" gas line with a minimum pressure of 6 bar.

• Utilization:

  • The generator has a multipolar electric connector for easy integration with the coreshooter or gassing chamber.
  • Manual control options are available through start/stop pushbuttons.

• Air Extraction:

  • A 90 mm diameter connection for air extraction must be connected to an existing suction plant to evacuate amine vapors and regulate temperature within the gas generator cabinet.
  • Minimum extraction capacity: 300 Ncm/h.
