Technical Features

The mixer features a mixing arm that can rotate 150° via a ring fixed to the base, which supports the entire assembly. It comprises the following components:

PUMP DOSING GROUP, RECIRCULATION SYSTEMS, AND INJECTORS:

• Double Pump Group: One constant-speed double pump group complete with two stainless steel dosing units featuring an active elastomer membrane with a metal insert and Teflon coating, with a mechanically adjustable flow for dosing resin and isocyanate.
• Variable Speed Pump Group: One variable-speed pump group complete with a stainless steel piston dosing unit with Teflon seals and electronically adjustable flow for dosing the catalyst.
• Recirculation Systems: Three recirculation systems, each consisting of a three-way pneumatic valve and the corresponding injector for dosage control, along with all necessary fittings.
• Pre-mixing Group: One pre-mixing group made of stainless steel, equipped with working injectors, mounting fittings, and flexible connecting tubes.

CONTROL ELECTRICAL PANEL:

The electrical panel will be designed for mounting on the base of the mixer and will contain all necessary electrical equipment to automate the mixer’s operation, as well as devices for easy and safe calibration of the various products. Connections between the panel and the mixer will be made using appropriately sized sleeves and cables.

The operator will have access to a control panel containing the following commands:

• Two-position manipulator for starting/stopping the mixer.
• Four-position selector to determine the set time for the agglomerated sand.
• Indicator light for alarm in case of dry sand shortage.
• Emergency button.

The electrical panel will be equipped with a PLC and a display with pre-installed software and support memory.

The supply voltage for the control electrical panel must be: 400 Volts three-phase + ground.

DRY SAND DOSING SLIDE GROUP:

• Dosing Slide: One double slide for dosing dry sand, consisting of an upper hopper and a pair of independent pneumatic control slides, each equipped with a mechanical adjustment system and a sand presence control sensor. This system stops the mixer in the event of product shortage or prevents it from starting.

The upper hopper is equipped with a support frame that is fixed to the base of the mixer itself. The frame’s function is to allow the rotation of the mixing arm while maintaining the dosing slides' position fixed.

CONTINUOUS MIXER SPECIFICATIONS:

• Mixing Shaft: The mixing shaft is equipped with a specially designed drive system that allows for quick removal from the mixer body, facilitating cleaning and maintenance.
• Mixing Shaft Speed: 900 rpm.
• Maximum Output: 3 tons/h.
