This system is based on a series of equipment designed to simplify and expedite the operation of changing core boxes on the latest generation of automatic core shooters that discharge onto a conveyor belt.
On these types of core shooters, the weight capacity for equipment (core boxes) has significantly increased due to the widespread need to produce cores with steel or cast iron core boxes, which can weigh up to 500 kg.
With this device, the operator can autonomously and swiftly perform the core box change with absolute safety.
The system essentially consists of:
Ultra-flat Hydraulic Pantograph Platform: Equipped with specially designed sliding wheels to operate within very confined spaces.
Integrated Guide Rails: Built into the structure of the core evacuation conveyor, with supports capable of holding 500 kg of core box weight in addition to the weight of the conveyor itself.
Manual Hydraulic Power Unit: Completely separate from the hydraulic system of the core shooter, allowing the operator to work safely while the machine's power is disconnected.
Complementary Equipment: Such as centering bushings, ensuring that nothing is left to the operator's discretion during the entire core box change process.
